Marguerita Elementary School

My experience at this center was extremely concerning. My two-year-old was not properly supervised and fell from the monkey bars, which should never happen at that age without close monitoring. Safety should always be the top priority.I was also disappointed to learn that food is not heated for children, and parents are told not to expect staff to “go out of their way.” Basic care and consideration should not feel like an inconvenience.Additionally, the director’s approach to discipline felt inappropriate and unprofessional, including what appeared to be raised-voice “scream contests” rather than calm conflict resolution.As a parent participating through a government-funded program, I felt there was a noticeable difference in how I was treated. Every family, regardless of funding source, deserves respect, professionalism, and proper care for their children.

My child began this school in 2021. I had heard the school had been going through growing pains, but we thought the dual language immersion would be so beneficial and I went to Catholic School growing up. Unfortunately, it seems this school is stretched too thin, and we get very little communication from the teachers and staff, despite multiple emails to the coprinicple asking to set up a meeting. They are also cutting much of their emotional support and special needs services for the upcoming academic year. With many children who started school during COVID needing a little more support, I think it's the wrong move.

I am an alumni of STM and can proudly say that I had an amazing seven years with the school. They had a rough few years, but are rebuilding their school nicely with their new principal. I strongly recommend this school if you want your child to have many learning opportunities and be included in a loving community. (:

All Souls World Language Catholic School has been an incredible blessing for our family. From day one, the staff made my daughter feel welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. The teachers genuinely care about the students, not just academically, but emotionally and socially as well.One thing that really sets this school apart is the language immersion program. My daughter comes home speaking Spanish with confidence, and it amazes us how quickly she’s picking it up. The curriculum is strong, the environment is safe, and the communication from the school is excellent.
