Maya Lin Elementary School

My daughter is in Kindergarten at AoA, and her class teacher, class helper, and Spanish class teacher are proactive, communicative and really care about the children in their class. The parent community is friendly, and the recently revived PTSA is run by some fantastic parents who are well organised. So happy to have found AoA. The other families I know who have children in both the elementary and middle school here love it.

My kids are enjoying NEA and are thriving both academically and emotionally. Their teachers are energetic, knowledgeable, and highly engaged. While the NEA campus isn’t architecturally impressive, it avoids the typical institutional indoor feel and offers a more welcoming environment. NEA also hosts many family events that help parents and kids build a strong sense of community. Overall, it’s been an excellent elementary school experience so far.
