Posted by a parent on 6/9/2017My kids attend this school and I can honestly say the teachers are great. They have learned so much and have shown more interest in school since attending. Mrs. Chavez is a great principle always on top of everything. Very happy to have my kids at Ted Vick.

The students can't complain because they don't take any matter seriously. I'm tired of going to speak to the principal and teachers and no changes are being made. This has been an on going issue since 2014. They pay no attention to Hispanics students. She told me “she needs to learn how to defend yourself.“ which made me very mad another thing my daughter had an accident at school because the teacher said carpet time is my time and did not let her use the restroom and then another thing. My daughter told her not once but twice that she did not feel good and told her all you’ll be fine just go lay down later on when I went to go pick her up, I had to take it to the emergency room because she had allergic reaction. My child has been bullied by words/pushed/ choked on and I've bought it up to teachers and principal. Principal always says they are kids just playing he doesn't take it seriously. This school year 2023-2024 this has had over three fights. My son 5th just for having a foot support they don't let him be in school with out a note which the day I have his note the front office gives my son his belongings/awards/ and graduation certificate and with still a week left of school.
