I attended this school along time ago back in the day and I really hated it. This school does not care at all for anyone and it seems to me after all these years it hasn’t changed a bit. Well I no longer live in the vicinity of Yuma county and I will never live in this state nor country again!

My child was excited to begin the new year (2022-2023) this year and so we’re we. This was due to the change of the principal at the school. School has just began and my child’s new teacher is amazing. (Mrs. Francis Martinez). Then all of the sudden my son is going to be getting a new teacher? This is unfair to the children. My child was actually excited to go to school with his new teacher. He was gaining confidence, and trust with his new teacher. Why do they do this to the children of this school? The same thing happened with the last principal. No continuity! I suppose we need to go to school where the leadership understands the importance of student and teacher continuity. So disappointed!

Excellent. The challenging activities during the day and after school are a great way for my child and other students to learn how to problem-solve and take responsibility for their own learning.

I liked valley horizon until i had problems with the "discipline" aka screaming at your students and Ana Noriega is a terrible principal who knows nothing about the goings on in her school.

Honestly, we were lead by the school district to believe this was the best school for our child, who has special needs. We trusted the teachers and staff, sad to say, we were deceived and lied to too many times. Our child's IEP contract was violated, the principal and teachers would do anything and say just about anything to cover their behinds. They failed to even read our child's IEP, in their words, "We have tried everything to help your child. We are tired of him and we are waiting our time", no lie. I would NOT and DON'T recommend this school for any parent with a special needs child.
