MASSA is a great community. My children have been part of it for many years. It has a challenging curriculum and a very caring staff. Everyone is treated like family and they promote a quality education. Highly recommend!

If your child is bright and needs to be challenged or wants more opportunities to strive, the school would work for them. They also have a record of losing some

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not the worst but it could be better in my opinion. There is a lot of favoritism amongst the school staff and it is very noticeable. Most of the school staff is very nice and welcoming but there is a monitor there who really shouldn’t be working with children. She is rude and her approach to I guess discipline is concerning. My kids do love their teachers and they give them so much support and encouragement that it has outweighed the bad. They had almost a prison type of set up for lunchtime at the beginning of the year that I was not comfortable with. The kids had stay silent in the cafeteria (no talking to friends at all) if anyone were to talk the whole cafeteria would be required to run laps. There is I would say a normal amount of bullying but the vice principal is really great about keeping a sense of order in the school.
