Read what parents are saying about John E Wright Elementary SchoolNothing but problems with this school this year had my daughters teacher tell the kids in her class that she wasn't letting any of the kids that didn't do their homework into class. My daughter is an IEP student that has special needs. There is about 20 kids in this class and teacher was only gonna let 3 in class. Had a lot of other problems as well. I'm gonna contact tusd school district and let them know everything that has happened

Posted by a parent on 10/16/2018First impression, one of the top schools in Tucson so happy to enroll my child. By my experience on registration day with the principal, NO WAY! That is not how you get things done, bullying is not OK.
Posted by a parent on 7/31/2018love this school. Lots of fun learning field trips and events. My Kindergarten child who just turned 5 when he started school was a bit behind the older kids in his class. Even though my husband and I worked with him on the basics, shapes, colors, alphabet and numbers. He was sent home with learning activity books, flashcards, and CD's the first quarter. The awesome teacher, Mrs. Hartman, really cares about children succeeding. By the first report card my child had improved 42% and is now slightly above his learning for his age. Thanks to a very caring teacher. We appreciate this school very much.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease pray before enrolling your children at this school. They're only interested in money and not the well being of your children. Several members of staff gossip about the students and other staff members. The staff members children that attend the school are treated great, they have their own cliques if you are not apart of it or you don't agree with what they say, you will be treated very nasty. I'm not an angry parent or staff member, I'm a God fearing Christian and the director of this school and several staff are not at all in line with God's word. I urge you to really think twice before coming here. Ask God for his guidance. Ask yourself if you want your children to spend recess at a park across the street that is full of drug addicts and homeless. If you do enroll your children, make sure you get everything in writing and receipts for everything. They will penny pinch you to death and then say you didn't pay.
