Read what parents are saying about Getz SchoolWe love Getz school and we are really happy we decided to send our daughter there. She is getting her therapies and learning routines and that is helping at home as well. We love her teacher, Ms. Kendra and can tell she really cares about the students. The community is definitely improving after covid and activities are coming back to the school. We are excited to be involved at the school and hope to help make changes for the good and the future of the school. We would definitely recommend Getz school to anyone who has a child with a disability specifically, but also to kids without disabilities. Inclusion is great and we are thankful our daughter is in class with kids with all abilities!

Posted by a parent on 1/10/2018My son has attended Getz for two years and it has been an amazing journey!. My son has grown in all areas of his development and went from a silent shy boy to a talkative social youngster! Getz was a wonderful experience for both of us. The teachers, therapist, and staff have been a huge blessing for our family.
Posted by a parent on 4/18/2017This is my son's 2nd and final year as a peer at Getz before he heads off to kindergarten next year. I can't say enough about the change I have seen in him. I originally had wanted him to attend Getz to be exposed to children who were different than him, children with different abilities. Not only has seeing children in wheelchairs or with different non-visible disabilities been part of his normal day, they are just regular classmates and normal friends to him (none of those embarrassing questions in public about what happened to someone) he has learned so much from his teacher! He wasn't even able to recognize his ABCs when he started Getz, and now does he not only know his alphabet, he is now able to write his name :-) I even caught him counting to 100 on his own, for fun!? All of the staff members know every student by name and have really created a wonderful community for these young learners to thrive! I am confident my son will excel in kindergarten because of his experience at Getz :-)
Posted by a parent on 3/22/2017I love this school my daughter loves this school. Loves getting on the bus. She knows her shapes loves her abc's, can count to 20. And she is only 3. This school is the best the teachers are really great made her first week easy for her, she was ready the second week. They will help in whatever they can for her. I recommend this school highly! A+++

They love coming to school. They have made tremendous academic growth. I couldn’t be more happier.Parent Review4w ago - Carminati Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs much as I want to support my child's education provider, the facility, staff and program are lacking. The teachers have far to many kids, staff mopes around clinging to their coffee's in one hand, and keys in another; not engaging in the children around them. Admin staff is complacent and defensive instead of welcoming feedback. Currently looking for other education options.Parent Review1y ago - Rover Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a Kindergarten parent, I am completely blown away by all of the opportunities presented to the children. They do their school work in the garden multiple days per week. They work in small groups according to their level of understanding. Whether your child is gifted or needs a lot of additional help, the attention is spent with helping your child succeed. A local farmer comes in and does activities with all of the grade levels (microgreen planting, baby chick hatching, etc.) PTA is great at organizing fun activities throughout the school year. I could not be happier with this school. I am looking forward to having all three of children attending and loving their elementary years.Parent Review1y ago - Frank Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf only no stars was an option. First of all education is hardly taken serious. Second very little effort is put into the safety of kids. I do parent pickup and there has been a handful of times where faculty is not paying attention and my child will walk straight up to my car and get in (they are supposed to be brought to the vehicle by staff). As of recent my son told me that on now multiple occasions he has been getting bullied (among others) by an individual. I was not made aware of the incidents that occurred to my son by STAFF but instead by him who is now feeling unsafe at school because of this kid and lack of care/seriousness from the faculty. I made it known that I’m now aware of these incidents so of course now it’s “being taken serious”. Unprofessional, unacceptable actions from staff. As parents we are supposed to be able to trust faculty to keep our children safe when we drop them off for school, not here. Parents make sure your children know they can talk to you about anything, we are their advocates. Also talk to your children about bullying, there is so many negative and life changing things that can occur when it comes to bullies and those who are bullied.Parent Review2y ago - Wood School
