From the start the principal was cold holding no empathy or compassion for my children who I clearly stated are going through major life changes. If schools want to see our youth succeed they need to learn to be empathetic and compassionate! Coming from the most caring, compassionate, empathetic, professional elementary school to Copper Canyon a top ranked school was far from a positive experience. Very poor experience for my young children! Using great school’s website lead me far from the truth of what Copper Canyon had to offer. My 10 year old received a message for her and her friend who also left the school to go end their life’s. Our experience was far from what children should be at the ages of elementary aged children. Heartbreaking experience to say the least!

Desert Springs is a wonderful school. My kids love it and are happy at school. My second grader knows about the Persian Wars, Greek Mythology, the Incas and Mayans. We have had wonderful experiences and will be forever greatful to the teachers, therapists and staff members.

This is the school you are looking for. They have it all. They have the best and most caring staff around. They truly get to know their students and their needs. They make every student feel important and valued. They all types of students here and they have the proper support for themThe school is like a hidden paradise. The community is amazing. There are plenty of school events to get to know and everyone. The front office is friendly as soon as you walk in. The Principal is one of the kindest humans ever. She knows all of her students and their needs. She gives all the teachers support when needed. The school is an A performing school and that’s because of the amazing teachers and their teaching. They have amazing lessons and cool projects. There is a wax museum , 6th grade play, circuit board training, and so much more. Each grade has their own grade level projects that they do. I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone. You will feel loved and cared for here

We couldn't be happier at SCA. The staff is extremely kind, when we toured there a year ago, my daughter leans over and asks me, "why are they so nice here". What we were accustomed to was much colder. We have moved a few times and our children have had to start at new students more than once. We received the warmest welcome from SCA and the other parents. We even had a parent ask to meet us prior to the first day so daughter would know a friendly face. In all schools you have your grumpy teachers and your amazing ones. The good far outweighs the grumps here and overall, the teachers seem to really care about their job and students. The campus is very safe, there are police officers present at all times. There are on staff counselors that are easy to schedule with. The decisions made by the administration seem to be with parents who work full time schedules in mind. They are courteous, welcoming and organized. The education and courses are above average, again having a few other schools to compare to.
