Black Mountain Elementary School

We are so impressed with the Spanish immersion program at Desert Willow . It is incredible to see how naturally the students pick up the language when it’s used as the tool for learning. Beyond just speaking Spanish, we’ve noticed a huge boost in our child’s problem-solving skills and mental flexibility. The teachers are dedicated professionals who make learning another language feel like an exciting challenge rather than a chore. It’s a gift that will benefit them for a lifetime

The hands-on learning experiences keep children engaged and help them develop a true love of learning. The school community is also exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The staff consistently communicates with parents, celebrates children's achievements, and creates a positive atmosphere where families feel like partners in the educational journey. Every teacher and staff member goes above and beyond to ensure that children are not only learning but also building confidence, kindness, and respect for others. One of the most rewarding aspects as a parent is seeing how excited children are to attend school each day.
