Kathryn Sue Simonton Elementary School

The amount of bullying is high, even the teachers will join in against students. They have very unprofessional teachers. The ignorance amongst the administration is unbelievable. The principal has no idea what she is doing. The teachers will have favoritism and will neglect the other students they do not favor. They don’t even have homework. The educational expectation is low. Your kids will not gain anything from attending here. Look elsewhere. Avoid this school at all cost!!

Doesn’t even deserve one star to be honest. This school doesn’t know how to handle a special needs behavioral child with emotional and learning disability. They are quickly fast to call and report vs finding the root of the problem and coming up with a plan to better help the child in a classroom setting. My child has been targeted by the staff of this school just because he’s different. Teachers and the school counselor are supposed to help children, not attack and target them. My child is fully aware of what has happened and feels less of a person now after attending this school so briefly. Now my child will have to be emotionally repaired. Shame on you Simionton! Since day one when school started, you’ve been nothing but problems towards my child. I hope you evaluate and process what could have been done differently. Thank you for mind damaging my child.

This school is a terrible place for special needs children.

The lack of empathy and understanding amongst the teachers is high. They do not care if your child has struggles, they label them as the “problem child’. They will report the family as the cause of the child and cause chaos in the child’s life.
