Dr. Gary and Annette Auxier Elementary School

My children have been going to Auxier since Kindergarten. They have been through 2 principals and loved both. The teachers are fantastic! We love how they incorporate kids of all different backgrounds and learning in all rooms! Being around others who aren’t “just like you” is lovely and teaches kids to be kind to all!

We love this school. All the teachers are experienced, the student to teacher ratio is the best in the area & the school really seems to encourage learning. My child was behind on some of the curriculum & the school was very accommodating & adjusted the level my child so he wouldn’t be left behind . Very happy with this school.

There's some great teachers bur there is also a lot of discord that stems from leadership. Bullying doesn't seem to get addressed as it should. Not a welcoming feeling for me when I enter and leadership can be very cold. It used to feel like a community but now feels very divided and that stems from the top.

We are extremely happy with Auxier. Our children have been going there for years. We are actually out of boundary, but choose Auxier for their elementary education over our home school. The administration and staff has been nothing but kind and supportive of our children’s needs.

Teacher and parent here. Many great teachers at Auxier but many great teachers and staff left as a direct result of principal Jamie willaims. Bullying is not dealt with, principal is rude and consistently dishonest which everyone knows because the lies are easy to see through. District and board refuse to fix the situation. Enrollment has gone from over 1k to barely 500 since the current principal took over. Many parents disenrolled already just 2 days in to the new year because of the principal. She will say she has open door policy but if you try to use it expect retaliation against you and your child. If your child is being bullied expect her to do nothing other than enable it. Don't expect the district to do anything to support your or your children.
