Granville Elementary School

This is an amazing neighborhood school, and although we have moved out of the area, we feel so blessed to have spent time here. From the front office staff to the specialists, principal, classroom teachers and SPED team, these people really care about kids and do their best to make them feel special, safe, and excited about learning. Our family especially appreciated our IEP team, who took the time to really understand our child's needs and always seemed to value our input. I've always said that if I could transplant the staff from Granville to our new city, I would do it in a heartbeat!!

My kids have gone there for 4 years. There's been 3 principals in that time, but the current one (Griffin) seems to be the most appreciated by parents and staff. It has been a family feel there for us and our friends, and we have liked the majority of the teachers our kids have had, and others I have come to know through volunteering, field trips, etc. A good school and I would recommend it definitely if you're going to do public schooling.

4 of my children have attended this school from K-6. They have been thru 3 principals and all have been very good. The teachers are all very great and have always been supportive of each of my children. The one thing that bothers me is the new main office lady. From my observations she is rude to both parents and children. She does not seem to have a friendly or welcoming attitude. Overall I recommend this school to everyone.

My children love coming to school. Teachers are great! They set up their classrooms for success. My student has been recognized many times for improvement in his clasa work. Principal is friendly and encourages family and community involvement

I love the teachers. Great teaching staff that truly cares about your child's success in the class. Most teachers there make themselves available during their free time to have students come in for extra help with their classwork. Granville has a new principal and so far she is awesome. She is very involved with the students and every week will celebrate with the students and their achievements and success with their character counts. She is very positive. She keeps the parents informed with weekly emails and newsletters. We are happy to have her join the Granville Family
