My daughter is doing very well at REM. She transferred 2 years ago, and they are very helpful and supportive. Her grades were suffering, but her teachers and Ms. Demcko have been wonderful.
Posted by a parent on 7/15/2026My kids are really happy here, and the teachers really care. They go above and beyond to make sure they succeed.
Posted by a parent on 7/15/2026We love REM. It's much better than Cactus Wren for my 3 kids.
Posted by a parent on 7/15/2026I have noticed an immense difference in my child since she has started at REM. She has been happier and more engaged in the teachings. Teachers seem to be real cheerleaders for the students. They are constantly checking in with care.
Posted by a parent on 11/13/2024Teachers work hard at Richard E. Miller to meet the needs of every student. REM is a tight knit community where the staff cares for one another as well as the families they serve!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wouldn't recommend this school, it has decent teaching but the overall effect it can have on social outcasts is ridiculous. As a former student I experienced several instances of bullying at this school and not a single teacher stepped up to do anything even when it was happening right in front of them. Teachers do nothing to help support struggling students.Additionally there tends to be a lot of drama amongst students and there's a lot of fights, and it seems orangewood has still done nothing to make sure this doesn't happen despite there being a zero tolerance bullying policy. Do not assign your child to this school.Student Review5mo ago - Washington Elementary School
