4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do not recommend this school. When my child attended here, he experienced ongoing bullying that the school failed to properly address, and the way administration handled the situation was extremely disappointing. It started when a girl apparently liked my son, but because he did not like her back, a group of girls began repeatedly teasing and bullying him. They would tell other students she was his girlfriend and spread rumors that he liked her. During a school field day, while me and his father were there supporting him, a group of girls even approached us and said, “Do you want to know a secret? That girl over there is our childs girlfriend.” Then they laughed and admitted they were “just pranking” and making fun of him before running away.Over time, the rumors escalated badly. Students began spreading false stories claiming my child wanted to kiss her or do inappropriate things with her, which was completely untrue. My son was young, confused, and had never shown behavior like that. He is a straight-A student in a gifted program with no disciplinary history or prior concerns. Even to this day NEVER an issue! Then one day during pickup, my child was missing from dismissal. I called the office worried, only to be told he had been sitting there for hours. Nobody would explain why. The same thing happened again the next day. My child was confused first day sitting in office with no explanation. 2nd day explained he had been pulled into the office again and questioned over rumors he knew nothing about. He was confused and scared because he had not said or done the things he was being accused of. My husband and I eventually had to refuse to leave the office until the principal finally spoke with us. And finally get our child they refused to release to us! Despite there being no proof, no pattern of behavior, and even other students defending our child, the school chose to believe a group of girls who had already been bullying him. Some of those students were proved to be administration/front office staff children, while principal was close family/friends with them which made the situation feel even more unfair. The school failed to stop the bullying, failed to communicate with parents properly, and handled serious accusations with no evidence or fair process. The entire situation was handled terribly, and I absolutely would not recommend this school based on our experience.Parent Review1mo ago11 Reviews - Larkspur Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagedo not recommend this school. The office is extremely disorganized, staff lacked professionalism, and there was very little focus on the actual students. There were repeated issues with confidentiality, communication, and failure to follow proper procedures or court paperwork.Despite both households specifically informing the school that information was not to be shared between us, the nurse repeatedly called me regarding my stepdaughter’s siblings on their mother’s side and would share information from conversations she had with their mom. This created unnecessary conflict and showed a complete lack of respect for privacy and confidentiality. The school also failed to properly verify identities during pickup. Staff repeatedly attempted to have me pick up children I was not authorized to pick up, even after being clearly told multiple times that I was not on their emergency contact list and was not to handle pickups for that side of the family. There were also concerns about court-ordered paperwork not being followed correctly. The office staff seemed unfamiliar with both district policies and basic state education and court-related procedures. Communication was inconsistent, staff were often rude, and there was little accountability when concerns were brought up. After dealing with ongoing issues and lack of professionalism, we ultimately decided to pull our children from this school.Parent Review1mo ago31 Reviews - Palomino Intermediate School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grandchild has attended this school since great school, and our experience during those early years was very positive. Unfortunately, the middle school experience has been disappointing. Some teachers seem underqualified and lack professionalism in their interactions with students. In addition, the school does not appear to emphasize Christian values as strongly as it claims. Instead, there seems to be a greater focus on fundraising and accommodating families with financial influence.Security is also a serious concern. Visitors appear to be allowed on campus without sufficient restrictions. On one occasion, a sixth-grade girl student was yelled at by an adult woman in the locker area before school started, and no staff member intervened. A science teacher was let go right before the students took their final.Due to these concerns, my son is now looking for another Christian school for my grandchild.Other Review1mo ago36 Reviews
