Read what parents are saying about Osborn Middle SchoolI am a student at this school and I am infinitely grateful to this school. The teachers are amazing, the electives are tons of fun, and there are so many honors classes: I myself am doing Algebra I in the 7th grade, and will be completing Geometry next year. I don't know why the rating of this school is so bad: It clearly hasn't been updated in a while. Just look at the reviews: there's not a signle one below 4 stars! I highly recomend this school to anyone who wants to be successful in life.

Posted by a student on 11/4/2018I graduated from OMS and I'm very glad that I did. My teachers were genuinely willing to helps us, their students, succeed and they were even really good friends when we needed one. I'd say that going to school there was definitely extraordinary compared to the schools I've been to before. It's because although they keep us in line with attendance cards and consequences if we don't do our homework, they still let us have fun such as getting to go on field trips as long as we work hard for it. Also, I wouldn't say that I am the most outgoing person out there, but I still felt how friendly the other students were and it really helped me when I first transferred there. (Oh and parents, thanks to this school, including my supportive teachers and peers, I have started off high school 2 years ahead in math! It sort of means that I don't have to take as many math classes in high school, but don't worry, my teacher has convinced me that the only thing better than that is being able to take more classes to improve myself. ^__^)

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll teachers and principal turn a blind eye to bullying while it’s happening and in the aftermath. It is impossible to contact anyone or get on the school grounds. The secretary in the office is always rude and unhelpful. The food is constantly terrible - and my kid will eat anything. Teachers keep quitting, to the point where the other teachers all have an excuse exponential anoint of students than they started the year with. Lack of discipline or boundaries create a lack of respect for the teachers by kids and parents. Little to no family inclusion. Teachers constantly complain about the conditions and excuse themselves from teaching the children. I am doing curriculum teaching with my child after school so they don’t fall behind and am taking them out of Solano. They take in expelled students mid year and let them run free, being violent. Multiple children have thrown steel water bottles and other children’s heads, throwing chairs, hitting teachers and other kids.
