Kings Ridge School

I don’t recommend this middle school. There’s very few staff who seem okay and then there’s the rest who catch attitudes with students quickly. Students get into trouble constantly and expelled for little reasons that aren’t serious to really be expelled for. But the main concern is the teacher staff and front office staff. They’ll say unnecessary comments or snap at a student for “distractions”. These distractions would be to get up and throw away a gum wrapper or to even go to the bathroom? Students get sent to front office for little things as such. These teachers are so worried and focused on who to get in trouble rather than just focusing on the education and bigger issues like bullying. In short, they all are overly strict and focus on the wrong issues with lack of comforting and understanding personalities.

This is a great school for STEM.

This is the worst school my kids have gone to by far. I am a single mom and I actually moved my daughters from a school with a 9 rating to this school with a 3 rating. I was pretty concerned about putting them in this school because of the reviews but figured I would give it a chance. Worst mistake ever. There is no organization at this school. I have called Mr. Tanks the principal 3 times in one day about a teacher calling my daughter stupid and he never called back. Now my daughter gets kicked off the bus for laughing, are you kidding me!! My daughters were transported to another school because of a lock down and I was never notified. If you can at all avoid this school I def would. The school isn't bad because of bad kids, there will always be those. It's AWFUL because of leadership! I will be notifying the Az Dept of Education and removing my daughter right away.

I went to this school in sixth grade, stayed half a year and was GLAD I never came back. It's full of kids who are wanna be gangsters that do drugs, get in fights, perform in sexual activities and do harmful things to the community. I know, because I was ONE of those kids! But now, since I have moved to a new school, Imagine Schools at Desert West, which is a FANTASTIC school I recommend transferring your students there. They are very strict, but it helped me in becoming a greater version of myself. People who once knew thought I was some gangster, now they see me as a nerd. But hey, you won't get anymore if you stay where you are. Don't put your kids in this school. Please.

my daughter was in a catholic school for the last 4 years , I decide to took her into public school , so she can had the experience, she loved it, it made her grow as a human being , and the teachers really care about the children , and she made a lot of friends (goods ones and not too good) but that's how life supposed to be. she still an excellent student A+
