Some of the problems are out of their control, low income, transient populace, English as a second language but I do know of other Title I schools that do a much better job. It starts at the top and I have zero confidence in the principal.

My son has major learning difficulties, so, I want to point out that it has a good special education team to better assist those children with learning difficulties. The front office is nice and helpful. However, other staff members are not that friendly. Overall, it is a good school. The academic ratings found on this website really make you wonder why they are so low at this school compared to the rest of the schools in the state. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't think I could ever say enough to convey how wonderful this school and its staff truly are. My son spent about 6 months transitioning from a school the genuinely did not care. He's now thriving and doing so well. All the staff have been a true wonder for me. Their intervention program is truly amazing. They always answer any questions I have and they answer them thoroughly. When his enrollment was in question due to us having to move out of district they helped make sure he could stay. All I have to do is provide transportation. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my 2nd time writing a reciew of MY EXPERIENCE so how it can be deleted is beyond me. But DO NOT SEND YOUR BIPOC kids to this school! They will allow them to be called slurs and then when your kid retaliates (after numerous attempts at intervention), they will label them the aggressor and write them up for verbal abuse and harrassment yet NOTHING has been put in place for the family using the word repeatedly TOWARDS BLACK STUDENTS.Parent Review1y ago
