Amberlea Elementary School

It is a great school. The kids just make the teachers overwhelmed because a lot of kids are running in class and talking and stuff like that. We need more teachers like Ms.Barrios to be nice to kids and actually teach and help them better.

It is a shame that there are students who are rude and disrespectful to not only each other, but teacher are rude well, My daughter is in 6th grade, and sits in a class where the teacher quit in the middle of the year. Apparently, she had it with the delinquents as well. Now, the classes have a substitute for the rest of the year that just lets the kids do what they want. They throw things at each other, yell, and are so wild, that the Principal and Vice Principal sat outside a few times.. but did nothing. There is still no control in that class. The teachers do nothing. Wait... the teachers are often overheard talking about other teachers in the building. My daughter and her friends have sat in class where the other teachers bash coworkers in front of them, this is not a way of being a role model, this tells the kids that they can act disrespectful as well. I highly recommend that if your child is going into 6th grade next year, consider the other schools in the area. The admin do nothing, the teachers try to teach respect but do not follow what they preach. They let the kids rules the classes and are very unprofessional.

These kids need some referrals cuz yall is too soft and some of the staff is annoying, but the teachers are good for most of the part. Get pizza fridays out cuz the pizza is nasty. Give us some early release Wednesdays too.

It's a smaller school which I like because they are more hands on with the kids.
