Receptionist or lady at front counter today as of June 10th 2025, was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional when it came to too child pick and my child almost going in a random car

This place is joke. If you have a special needs child. DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. Even for simple testing.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the experience my family has had at this school. After paying a very high tuition and dedicating an entire kindergarten year to this institution, I expected better treatment and professionalism. On graduation day, around 11 AM in 100° weather, the school allowed my son to run around after he had just chugged a bottle of water. Unfortunately, he ended up throwing up due to the heat and dehydration. Instead of understanding the situation, the school suddenly decided to revoke his ability to walk in the graduation ceremony, claiming he might have a virus and that other children shouldn't be exposed.What’s even more troubling is that they did not consider the circumstances under which he threw up. It felt like an arbitrary decision made without compassion or proper judgment. I can’t help but feel like this was retaliation, especially since my son is the only Hispanic child in his classroom, and the overall treatment throughout the year has been difficult and at times discriminatory. The school made his enrollment process very challenging, and this final decision on graduation day feels like a spiteful attempt to sabotage his milestone.Due to these ongoing issues, we’ve decided to move him to a different private school. However, the way this situation was handled has left us deeply disappointed and hurt. It’s unacceptable to treat children and families with such disregard, especially during what should be a joyful celebration.

My children have been students at Sunset Heights for several years. I'm pleased with the efforts made by the teachers and administration. I would appreciate smaller class sizes. However, I know that this is the fault of PUSD and the Arizona legislature.
