Receptionist or lady at front counter today as of June 10th 2025, was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional when it came to too child pick and my child almost going in a random car

This place is joke. If you have a special needs child. DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. Even for simple testing.

Extremely disappointed with my child's experience. Unaddressed bullying, teacher communication causing mental distress to my child, excessive workload, a lack of in-class support, AND a dismissive front office has led to a complete aversion to school. This has negatively impacted my child's well-being and academic engagement.

I have two boys who attend Arrowhead! They both love going to school, feel safe and supported, and learn at a high level daily. We love the community and care that our boys receive while at school. The staff love our kids, go above and beyond to make them feel valued, and always respond to our needs as parents.

I am very disappointed in our experience with this school and ultimately decided it was no longer the right placement for my child.Despite having a 504 Plan, my child’s documented accommodations—including dietary needs and reminders to drink water—were not consistently followed. Academically, reading instruction occurred only twice per week, which led to significant delays and was especially concerning given the school’s small class size and private setting. There was a noticeable lack of individualized academic support.Supervision and school culture were also troubling. On multiple occasions, staff did not assist my child during drop-off. Inappropriate behavior and language among students went unaddressed, including name-calling from older students. A teacher’s response that this behavior “meant they loved her” was deeply concerning and unacceptable.Communication was inconsistent and often unclear. Progress reports were repeatedly delayed and, when finally received, contradicted prior conversations about my child’s academic struggles. Additionally, my child’s tutor identified academic deficiencies that had never been communicated by the school, and there were inconsistencies between staff regarding her progress.Overall, this experience showed a lack of accountability, communication, and appropriate support. Families should ask detailed questions about accommodations, academic intervention, and how student behavior is handled before enrolling.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the experience my family has had at this school. After paying a very high tuition and dedicating an entire kindergarten year to this institution, I expected better treatment and professionalism. On graduation day, around 11 AM in 100° weather, the school allowed my son to run around after he had just chugged a bottle of water. Unfortunately, he ended up throwing up due to the heat and dehydration. Instead of understanding the situation, the school suddenly decided to revoke his ability to walk in the graduation ceremony, claiming he might have a virus and that other children shouldn't be exposed.What’s even more troubling is that they did not consider the circumstances under which he threw up. It felt like an arbitrary decision made without compassion or proper judgment. I can’t help but feel like this was retaliation, especially since my son is the only Hispanic child in his classroom, and the overall treatment throughout the year has been difficult and at times discriminatory. The school made his enrollment process very challenging, and this final decision on graduation day feels like a spiteful attempt to sabotage his milestone.Due to these ongoing issues, we’ve decided to move him to a different private school. However, the way this situation was handled has left us deeply disappointed and hurt. It’s unacceptable to treat children and families with such disregard, especially during what should be a joyful celebration.
