As Board President I am proud to serve this lovely school. We are fortunate to have very small class sizes with lots of opportunities for one on one interactions between teachers and their students. The multi age classrooms fluidly allow for students to work ahead of their age peers and get extra support when they fall behind. The emphasis on performing arts integration into instruction provides opportunities for students to shine and express their talents. The school has been recognized as a Golden Rule School and the whole campus focuses on learning to treat each other as they would want to be treated.

Class ratios too high, 3 grades taught by the same teacher, multiple unresolved issues with bullying, and teachers allegedly use the word "snitching" to encourage kids not to tell the teachers when others are acting inappropriately. One child in kindergarten cut my child's hair without consequences, nor did the teacher bring it up until asked! Additionally, they don't easily accommodate for dietary issues or allergies by providing other options; our previous school in Phoenix did this, so it is possible within the State. The principal seems to have minimal training with overseeing concerns professionally, which is understandable given her only experience was as a kindergarten teacher. The security measures are also greatly lacking throughout the campus. Overall, would highly recommend choosing any other school.

This school is amazing and should be on the top 10 of schools it has constantly been awarded national school choice award, the kids have gone and placed 1st and 2nd on essays, poetry contest through out the state. The only thing that brings down this school is the fact that there numbers for tests do not look good because of s few reasons. 1. They have small numbers so if one kid fails a test it makes all there stats. Drop low. 2. They do have alot of kids who need additional help so those kids test lower even though for that individual they may do great for what they started at. People should not just look at number with this school. But what they receive over all. This school does so many additional things. Having gardens working outdoors, working with local dairy learning about agriculture, cooking classes, art, music, drama, and more. Hands down best school I have ever had my son at.

if there was a higher rating than listed i would rate from 1 to 10 as a 11. even if i moved out of the district i would make the drive to see to it that my children went to this school because of it's teachings, staff, leadership, and community involvement.

What I love avout Ash Creek is that the children have an opprtunity to integrate the arts into a learning experience. Their program is immaginative, with many guest artists in residence that offer their talents to expand the imaginations of children through music, art, and drama. It is fun even being a parent. I am thankful that me son attemds this school.
