Mi hijo estudio aqui de kinder a 6o grado. Mi esposo y yo también tuvimos la oportunidad de estudiar aqui como adultos por parte del programa FLP que la escuela ofrece. En general la experiencia fue buena. Las malas opiniones que tiene de varios años atraz creo que no le hacen justicia al trabajo académico actual de la escuela. Checar el nivel poblacional y la calificación que la escuela tiene actualmente, seria una base razonable para determinar si es o no una buena opción educativa. La comunidad en este plantel suele ser funcional.El aula de los estudiantes suelen proveer lo necesario para un aprendizaje mas fluido y en nuestra experiencia en varias ocasiones se nos ayudó mas de lo que nuestras expectativas hubiesen imaginado.La trabajadora social hace un buen trabajo siendo empatica, afectiva y es buena proveedora de información importante y actualizada con recursos que ofrece la comunidad, entre otros.Mi hijo hace 6 años se graduó de Adams y seguimos teniendo buena relación con maestras, directora, trabajadora social, etc. El equipo sigue siendo punto de apoyo para nuestra familia en general, cosa que agradecemos mucho pues eso habla de la buena comunión que hay con respecto a la misión de esta escuela primaria.

I'm about to ruffle some feathers. Yet I personally don't care. I'm disappointed due to the fact. That this schedule came highly recommended. From various parents and adults overall. My child started this school. Brand spanking new but the principal. At my daughters previous school. Bad mouth me to staff at Roosevelt. To the point where staff. Such as the teacher and principal. We're making snide remarks about me. To or in front of my child. And because my child informed me. Everytime I'd confront the staff. The teacher was petty and ignored my messages. Surrounding my daughters education overall. Intentionally giving my child assignments above her comprehension. And when I'd speak on my concerns. The very nasty principal would. Target my child pulling her. Out of class disrupting her learning time. Pretending niceness towards my child. Around other staff members yet being mean. During the interaction while alone with my child. She'd call my daughter name's. And would comment on my looks. Which is very unprofessional and quite frankly. Had nothing to do with;the price of tea in China. From my understanding instead of. The teacher and principal doing their job. By providing structure and safety. Their time was filled with fraternization. Of any male entering school grounds. Or harassing my child to spite me. My child began not wanting to attend school. That's when I knew. I had to remove her from Roosevelt. I had enough on them. To file a formal complaint. With an Ombudsman or board of education. Yet I opted to remove my child. Also my child wasn't having. Her needs met from an academic standpoint. She wasn't being taught properly. Or treated fairly in my opinion. And the way that things were going. I knew that my child. Would've been just shuffled through. To the next grade without proper knowledge.

I had my children attend here for about 3 years , when we moved schools(went through a break up with my ex) i had a teacher at Crismon who i never met, write a false character of defamation letter about me . The principal did nothing to address the matter ; unfortunately i would not recommend this school any more.

This school used to be filled with kind and supportive staff, now, not so much. The new Principle Mike is pretty rude and so is their staff, quite a change compared to the past 20 years. Their early education teacher, doesnt know how to decide that a child is ready for kindergarten, but rather goes off her little test on paper with a pass or fail. Missed opportunities for kids who are intelligent and ready to learn, but may not know everything on their written test. Just not the school it used to be.
