I just had to withdrawal my 5year old from kindergarten at Desert Thunder because they have insufficient staffing, and there was not a teacher in my child’s classroom and I was not informed of that, and my child was also struck at school by another student yet I was not informed of that either. I ha

Posted by a student on 8/2/2026Seems like the lady in the front desk will not answer your calls unless you call blocked ! Erin is amazing in the front office though so welcoming
Posted by a parent on 8/18/2025Horrible, I worked there and it's not a good environment for special needs kids. Staff are not believed when they reported. My daughter also attends this school, she seems to be doing well and likes her teachers.
Posted by a community member on 2/24/2023Terrible place to work for supporting staff. I would not put my child in the self contained ESS classroom. My child also attends and says she likes her teachers.

Now kids from ages 3-5 are expected to have breakfast have 7:45, and go without food until nearly 12:15 once they have lunch.Parent Review3mo ago - Copper Trails School

He comes home wanting to tell us about his day with excitement!! We’re looking forward to enrolling our youngest for the new school year.Parent Review10mo ago - Scott L Libby Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageToday I made the decision to remove my 7year old son from Scott Libby Elementary school in Goodyear AZ.When I dropped him off Wednsday morning, he showed me where he has been sitting in class alone, separated from the other students, facing the wall while the rest of the class sits together in groups. At first, I honestly thought he was joking. He was not!I was deeply disturbed to learn that this had apparently been happening for about a month, possibly longer, and I was never notified that my child was being isolated or disciplined in this way.No child should be treated like this.As a parent, it is heartbreaking to realize your child may have been silently carrying this every day. I have noticed changes in my son’s behavior, and now I understand why.I brought this to the school’s attention, and I left feeling like my concerns were not taken seriously.I want to be very clear: isolating a 7 year old child away from peers like this is unacceptable. It is emotionally harmful, humiliating, and damaging.I am speaking out because no parent should have to find this out by accident, and no child should have to go through this alone. My son deserves better. Every child does.#ScottLibbyElementary #ParentRights #ProtectOurChildren #SchoolAccountability #DoBetterParent Review7mo ago - St. Thomas Lutheran Pre-School
