I am really happy my kids are here. My kids went to a Peoria school before and then Legacy, and I wish I would have moved them to Glendale American sooner. I really like how the school communicates with parents and how nice everyone has been. The teachers are very nice. In just the first few weeks, we already had a meeting about some concerns with my kids. The principal, assistant principal, teacher, and a counselor or emotions specialist all met with me and made a plan right away. I could tell they really cared about my kids, and the principal seemed to know exactly what to do to help. My kid's friends told me that this principal has really changed the school and made it a much better school than it used to be. I am really happy I chose Glendale American and just wish I would have done it sooner.

Such a terrible school! The pick up line is so unorganized. Parents don’t care about anyone but themselves. Act like they are the only ones picking up. There should be rules or close off part of pick up line.

My step daughter has been going to this school for a while. All this time that she has been here was terrible for her. The vice principal at this school has been picking on my step daughter. I do not tolerate this behavior. I do not recommend Ira Murphy for anyone. The staff here is terrible. They never want to hear anyone out and make so many false accusations. If I could take my step daughter out of this school, I would. She has been complaining to me about her school and the staff there. I absolutely do not want to see any other kid feeling this way. Seeing my step daughter looking miserable everyday after school makes my heart shatter and fills me with anger. This is a terrible school and no child should have to go through this.

Both of my kids have attended Copperwood since kindergarten. My son had no problems and was able to promote and move on to HS. My daughter on the other hand has had problems left and right for the past 2 years. THE BULLYING IS SO BAD!!! They also SUPPORT the bully’s and do not care for the victims. My daughter has been physically and mentally attacked by one girl and her group of friends. We had to make a police report and the assistant principal put a “no contact” order in for my daughter and this girl which is a TOTAL JOKE! She’s still aloud to talk to her, call her names, and mentally abuse my daughter without any repercussions. My daughter is so scared to go to school. She does not feel safe at all. Do yourself a favor and find another school!!

This school will have your child signing contacts without parents consent and won’t tell parents until after the fact. I had to take my children out of this school and get a variance to put them into school elsewhere. I do not recommend this school. If I could give ZERO stars I would.

This school is exceptional! My son has done so well here verses public school! The staff dnd teachers are so caring and really do so much for the kids!!
