Challenger Middle School

Such a terrible school! The pick up line is so unorganized. Parents don’t care about anyone but themselves. Act like they are the only ones picking up. There should be rules or close off part of pick up line.

As a parent of a child with a disability I did not find this school inclusive at all. My child came from her previous school where she was part of a general education classroom with support. I was told that this was not possible at William C Jack elementary and the only placement that they could provide was Cross-categorical Autism classroom. I had an IEP meeting and asked if I could observe the classroom to make sure it was the right placement and was denied at the IEP meeting. I also felt that the team felt that they were gonna make decisions on my child’s placement and my input didn’t matter. Future more they didn’t provide services or honor the previous IEP. My child came home and complained constantly about being hit and kicked by another student while she was in the Autism classroom. The curriculum they provided in the classroom left me feeling disgusted and nauseous.I ultimately removed my child from the school.

The only reason why my kids have to come to this school is because it was ordered since their dad has time with them , the staff is HORRIBLE . Multiple occasions I have had to call the superintendent and complain . The office staff is rude to your children if you have a bad experience , multiple occasions my daughter has went without her inhaler because they had NO COMMUNICATION with me ( who KNOWS about past ) while they only contacted dad ( who knows NOTHING ) . My middle son was STRIP SEARCHED ( I have the video , AND recording of the principal confirming this , because of a lie that was spread from my children’s father’s step son . The grades of my children have SIGNIFICANTLY went down since being at this school . Horrible teaching . They don’t care if your child or children are getting bullied . It’s PATHETIC . 0/5 stars .

This principal creates a completely toxic environment. She constantly yells at, belittles, and criticizes teachers and staff in front of others, making it clear that intimidation is her go-to management style. You hear her complaining, gossiping, and talking down to people all the time, which makes the whole school feel tense and unsafe. Staff morale is nonexistent, and it’s obvious that fear and favoritism drive how things get done instead of support or collaboration. It’s exhausting to see, and it really undermines the entire learning environment for students.

Good School Overall. Better options elsewhere as far as teachers go.
