Gilbert Elementary is such a fabulous A+ school. Offering Dual Language it provides the students with an exceptional learning experience. The campus is homey and comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly, but also extremely dedicated to the students and their education. Gilbert Elementary is a real treasure and offers opportunities to children that can't be found anywhere else!

My children have been attending Islands since kindergarten, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The teachers are deeply involved, attentive to each child’s unique learning style, and truly caring—you can see how much they love what they do. It really does take a village to raise children, and the staff here create a warm, family-like environment rather than just a school building.Mr. Davis, the new principal, has been an incredibly positive addition to Islands. His energy brightens every room, and he is always present—offering guidance, instilling important life skills, and supporting both staff and students. We have continued at Islands because of the genuine love and support we feel here. Highly recommend!

I am a newcomer to Arizona, but this school has really helped my family build roots here. Teachers line the halls and welcome students each and every day. The teachers are passionate about teaching and my daughter’s kindergarten teacher from three years ago still attends birthday parties and celebrations. We feel very lucky to have such a supportive and inclusive school in our community. I strongly urge other parents to think about Harris Elementary as an option for their children. At this school your child has the potential to learn and grow and families have the luxury to be part of a loving community.
