This school is one of the worst i have been to. The students have no respect for any of their peers and will bully to thier hearts content and the staff does absolutely nothing.
Posted by a student on 8/22/2024This school has potential under very different leadership. The current principal is not suited for her role and should never have been assigned as Principal. I'm honestly not even sure how she is truly qualified and you can't research because there is no information about her background on the FUSD
Posted by a parent on 5/5/2023Waaaaaaayyyy too crowded. Flagstaff needs a another public middle school. Too many kids, not enough adults, and all the problems associated with that scenario. They may get a D in the state grades, but Sinagua gets a big fat F from me.
Posted by a parent on 11/4/2022In my experience there isn’t any positive reinforcement in this school, it is all about punishment for bad behavior, I feel as though children deserve better. I do believe the academics are good and there are tutoring resources available to children and that is a bonus. They have a political agenda

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSon has had the same teacher 2 years in a row and he's fallen behind with the same teacher. She is way to immature to be a teacher there, she has no control over her student's and constantly asking parents to control her class instead of her. Secondly, bullying just is allowed at the school, teachers just respond with I will take care of it but nothing happens. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in kindergarten so I have only a couple months of experience with this school, but so far I am very impressed. Her teachers seem really amazing. The principal is very friendly and seems enthusiastic about the school (I believe it's his first year at PDH). The front desk admin folks I've been really impressed with - they have been extremely helpful and have gone out of their way to let me know what's going on and make me comfortable.My daughter went into the Spanish-English program with no previous Spanish experience, and I'm blown away by how quickly she is picking up the language. I imagine each child deals with this in a different way; I have talked to people with whom the Spanish aspect of it just didn't "click."
