This should be for kids who are truly hungry for knowledge and that is their passion. But otherwise, this school is awful. They put WAY too much pressure on the kids especially

Posted by a student on 1/20/2022Our experience at Basis is mixed. Some good teachers, some poor. Overly focused on testing, test scores, memorizing even at young grade levels. By the 5th grade no recess or free-play time, which is a big mistake as kids need to let out energy during the day....

She is way to immature to be a teacher there, she has no control over her student's and constantly asking parents to control her class instead of her. Secondly, bullying just is allowed at the school, teachers just respond with I will take care of it but nothing happens. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe most amazing public school. Our son started kindergarten here and his teacher, Mrs Whitcomb, is kind and supportive. Besides English, we speak Polish at home. Our son needs extra attention with pronouncing the words properly and staying focused on reading. Everyone who works at this school with our child is really helpful. The sports are awesome he loves his sports trainer Mr Dunlap and his substitute teachers and helping teachers.
