I’m glad my kids only had to go to this school for a couple of months I feel bad that this is what a “good” schools standards are.

This is a school that deeply cares and will go above and beyond to meet the needs of a child. If you are looking for a polished exterior go to BASIS, but know that at Humboldt the emphasis is not on the exterior but on the stuff that really matters. I volunteer at the school and am impressed with the individualized attention, the effective means with which everyone there deals with each student and their needs.

The staff and administration were warm and friendly upon our arrival to Humboldt Elementary. We are so happy with our new school!

This school really fell off. The two years I attended this school were horrible, students who destroy school property for fun and love to get violent. The principle had to make multiple announcements in the beginning of the year on fighting and its consequences. With that they "banned" self defense, meaning if a student got into a fight then the victim couldn't protect themselves. Teachers were great and really connected with students but many of them are leaving as of 2025. I really hope this school gets better. From what I heard, both principles are leaving to different schools so maybe it will be better for incoming and existing students.
