My son would tell Mrs. Friesth that he loved her every day when leaving to go home and it would make my heart melt. The staff at the school, along with the teachers, were absolutely wonderful to be around and it felt like a healthy family function at social events. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers try but they get silenced by their higher ups. Kids run rampid with terrible behavior that gets rewarded and teachers can't do anything about it. Not safe at all assaults are clearly ok over there with no repercussions. Class sizes are too big, teachers are losing their morale. My brother graduated high school from there and had a great experience and my son has been going there since he was 2 and he is now 9 and still loves the school. He never wants to leave, loves his friends, and the freedom in education he has there. He excels in math and has ways to creatively approach his other school subjects each day. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSummit is a private school tailored to wealthy parents, not to academic rigor and excellence. Academics are not prioritized and instead the school's focus is on social media presence. Middle school math is taught by elementary school teachers leaving advanced students to self-teach. There are little to no protocols at the school. Students who are not the children of donors are left vulnerable and can easily be expelled at the request of another parent or at the whim of the Head of School. Communication from the ahead of School to parents is vague at best and lacks transparency, often leaving families in the dark about school incidences. There is a lack of respect toward families by both the Head of School and the Head of Operations. While there is a strong music and art department, one must consider if the hefty $20,000 annual tuition is worth it.Parent Review3mo ago
