Read what parents are saying about Youngker High SchoolHave already had one graduate from Youngker and my second is almost there also, senior year! The school is amazing, the teachers, for the most part, are awesome. On school security is amazing as well. Couldn't ask for much more for my kids.
Posted by a parent on 1/27/2020Be smart enroll your child else where. Yongker highschool is not a place to have your child go to. Its filled with some kids that love To bully especially the little girls they are so vicious and very jealous of other girls tgat i guess is better than them cause obvious they ha e self asteam issues so thats why they love to bully.Theres always fights that go on .the principles dont say much or do anytthing about it so save your self the headache and go to verado please dont make yongker your first choice like i did i regreat of putting my child there.
Posted by a community member on 8/31/2016Our child is a freshman this year and everything so far with school has been great. Teachers have been engaging with both the student and us. Coaches have been great mentors so far emphasizing not just the sport but school work and being good people while representing our community. Most importantly I've seen a lot of kids at the school being supportive of one another, especially upperclassmen helping out freshman. Plenty of school spirit exists here and I'm happy with our choice of YHS. We are only halfway through our first quarter so I will update more later in the year.
Posted by a parent on 9/8/2015I would never recommend this school. Its a trash hole and none of the principles or counselors help with anything besides help make things worse!!!! I wouldn't even rate it a 1
Posted by a community member on 12/5/2014My son Graduated from here and he had the best experience. The teachers are amazing and they really prepared him for college.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst day of school and my son is attacked by two boys. The officer on campus did nothing and I never received any documentation on the incident. Trying to prevent me from filing charges but they can’t stop me . Try and hold documentation from parents and you will have more issues than an upset parent!!!!!These bully’s seem to run this school. Not safe!!A tiny rural community school cannot manage to control wild 5th graders, and not to mention the horrible academic scoring! Not sure how many actually credentialed teachers this school actually has???? Boys returned to school with no consequences while my child has to repair his confidence in his own. Buckeye is growing and these schools better adjust out of these horrific examples of safe elementary schools.DO BETTER INCA ELEMENTARY!Parent Review3mo ago - Bales Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI go here (I'm in the 7th grade) and its so bad the principals worry about tiktok pages more than actually doing their jobs and it unfair you'll get in trouble for giving someone else's Snapchat to another person. The vice principal is very unfair I got in trouble because I looked at a girl she told me "they felt like I wanted to fight them" because I looked at them and Mrs Tarango is basically never here she comes ever blue moon, speaking about fights there's fights every five to six business days going from fifth to eight grade, if you don't want your kids to be hearing racial slurs towards them don't go here you hear the n word every day likes it's the word okay. People vaping and smoking is every were from in the bathroom to outside they act like they care but you only go home for two days and the teachers are okay but they can't control the kids at all like they but running out of classroom, having their phones out and cussing out teachers its so bad, some kid could rip apart their computers more than once and not pay a thing but if you have a small crack you pay 170. Nobody likes this school people are leaving left and right I know more people that went to bales and now go to jsm or west park than people who come from both of those going to bales. So please if you need a besd school pick jsm or west park not here, I'm moving to jsm in eight anywaysStudent Review4w ago - Freedom Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was bullied half the year. She was bit twice and kicked at, had marker wrote on her face and was called names. No action was taken. Instead the principal sent me a email stating since my child wasn't bleeding or crying it wasn't extreme. The principal and other teachers are more concerned about being popular with each other than actually running a school. Horrible experienceParent Review9mo ago
