I love this school! The teachers, office staff, principals, even the janitorial and lunch staff are all amazing. My daughter is extremely happy and learning so fast. Not a negative thing to say! Go George Giants!

We visited and it was a lovely school with high energy and a very gracious staff. Now I am looking for personal experiences from families who have children attending. My rating is based on our visit.
Posted by a community member on 1/21/2012I don't want to bring too much negativity to this post, but judging by the curriculum, teachers and work that my son does at this school, it's pretty average and can be better. My son transferred from Turnbow Elementary this year and there is a BIG difference. I know my son is bright and can do well

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was excited about this school after reading reviews but was soon disappointed. The staff even at open house did not engage. Zero communication from any staff about drop off and pick-up until after the first 2 weeks resulting in absolute rudeness from staff in car line. This school has Pre-K and Elementary in the same building with 2 different principles. The 2 principals do not communicate with one another. On more than one occasion they could not locate my child. Worst experience. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was sent home the wrong way yesterday even though he told teachers he was not supposed to walk. He was found crying and wandering a few streets over from us while his dad waited for him in the car rider lane. This is absolutely unacceptable. He was found by a stranger who walked him home to me. This stranger was more responsible in caring for my son's safety than the teachers I'm expected to trust. I asked for a formal apology in writing. Instead I was called by my son's teacher who tried to blame me. When she realized that wasn't working she blamed my son and said he told her he needed to walk. He didn't but even if she did, why would she take his authority over mine which she had in writing? She then blamed the office workers claiming they gave her bad information. He made it home correctly the day before. They took no accountability and didn't even apologize to my son for the pain they caused him. He cried and told me he was afraid to go to school today.
