4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy school year at terry was okay it wasn't so great when I first transferred to terry when I was in 4th grade, kids picked on me I got teased a lot and even one time this kid kicked me hard on the back so I started to cry and the teacher told me " really, really ......... are you really going to start crying, but my 5th grade experience was AWESOME I loved it I was on the cheerleading squad safety patrol, counselor's aid library monitor ... and much, much more GO TIGERS =^.^=Other Review12y ago7 Reviews - Fulbright Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhere do I even start with this school. There is no logical organization of pickup or dropoff. Students get 15 minutes to eat breakfast, if they get to school as soon as it opens. Classroom snacks are not allowed like other nearby schools (Don Roberts). Our kids complain about bullying and excessive teasing daily. This school is a waitlist school, and the staff acts as though they despise the students there. There is no reason to register your kids here with LRSD school choice. There are several, much better and more modern schools nearby. The only positive experience we have had there is one of my kids' teachers sending him home with a pair of shoes when his fell apart.Parent Review7mo ago17 Reviews - Baker Interdistrict Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a girl who went to Baker Elementary from 1st grade to 4th grade, until I had to move to another state the summer before 5th grade (which I am currently in) and only now that I go to a bad school do I realize baker was great! The school wasn’t humongous which in my opinion is good and there were only like two mean kids per grade. The teachers were really nice and did a lot to make sure that each kid was learning a lot and felt cared for. It was that type of place where you felt like you belonged and it was really easy to make friends. The only negatives were that that the school REALLY needed a renovation and a deep cleaning, the bathrooms smelled so disgusting and I found a lot of gross things on the floor and in the desks. Also at lunch the lunch monitors were really mean and strict. But I still really loved Baker :) totally recommendOther Review1y ago17 Reviews - Christ the King School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUSE CAUTION!! The administration is unstable and changes frequently putting the children in a precarious situation. The board overseeing the school practices "marshmallow leadership" and is run exclusively by parents who never focus on long term strategic matters. Members prefer to scapegoat, let gossip prevail and meet in secret to vote out other members who they don't like. It looks really nice at first glance but if you stay there long enough these ugly issues will surface.....be careful!!Parent Review13y ago3 Reviews - The Baptist Preparatory School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been at AR Baptist since K-4 and is graduating this year. I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else. I have friends that have children at some of the other private schools in town and all of them have some of the problems mentioned here. We have had a few teachers we haven't clicked with and a few issues I haven't agreed with, but overall, it is an awesome school. Teachers and parents are very involved. The class sizes are small. It is a challenging curriculum, especially high school. There are sports for every interest and band, but they put very little money and support towards drama. I feel the teachers and administration really care about these kids. If your child just wants to coast through high school and put out any effort, you might not want to invest the money to have tjem here. Our ACT, etc scores are great and every year we beat out a whole host of private schools in the area in a competition where the kids take.an actual final exam in college courses.Parent Review12y ago9 Reviews - Little Rock Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEvery parent wants the best for their children. I am confident our kids are receiving the very best for our family. We are not wealthy, and our children are not extremely athletic. We are a mixed race family, and we have never felt excluded. The teachers love on our kids so well. We are very thankful for the strong, supportive community at PA!Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews
