eStem Elementary Charter

We love being a part of Gibbs, both my kids love their friends and teachers and are making great progress each year. We would highly recommend this school!

I have three kids attending ECS, one in High School, one in Middle School and one in Elementary School. My kids find it challenging but not overwhelming. They know that they are being prepared for college and beyond. I appreciate the communication with the staff and the importance of teaching students to take more responsibility for themselves and their work. We have had opportunities to move but continue to stay in Little Rock specifically for our kids to attend this school. Yes, there are the stereotypical have's and have not's but that is the same in life as well. My kids have learned to hold their own identity in the midst of many who have much more than them and to appreciate what opportunities and sacrifices we are making for them to attend ECS. My kids are not into sports but find the math and science more appealing. They also really enjoy the 3D animation camp over the summer. I would highly recommend this school but as with any institution, it is not for everyone.

My son has attended this school from preK and is now in 8th grade. The teachers and staff are professional and dedicated. The quality of the education surpasses some of the charter schools (I've attended several of their orientations/tours). I've also seen first-hand that the school manages to challenge academically advanced children while providing amazing support/tutoring/intervention to children with special needs. The school population is diverse, supportive, and has become like a second family. I investigated many schools before placing my son here, and it was definitely the right choice. I consider this school a gem that has remained hidden for too many years.
