Read what parents are saying about Northridge Middle Schoolmy experinse is amazing such a wonderful school .
Posted by a parent on 4/4/2023This used to be a great school. As the previous parent stated, "It is growing and overcrowding may be a problem in the future. However, this is the only concern." This has become a growing problem. With more children comes more problems. The school has an epidemic of theft, bullying and fighting. Tensions are high and the administration does nothing to help. When you voice your concern, they hide behind the campus officer so they don't have to deal with you. Try to make the parent out to be the bad guy for protecting their child. The victim is just as guilty as the offender and the victim always pays. We have 1 year left and I am hopeful that when the new school is built my daughter will have a better experience.
Posted by a parent on 5/26/2017This is an excellent middle school. The administration is strong and they enforce rules. The elementary is adjacent to the middle school but they do a great job keeping them separate. It is growing and overcrowding may be a problem in the future. However, this is the only concern. I would highly recommend this school.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur child's experience at Verner has been awesome! He started the school year as a new student and really struggled the first few months. The teachers could not have been more supportive, and through a lot of effort on everyone's part, he ended the year above grade level in both reading and in math. His academic improvement last year was nothing short of amazing!Parent Review5y ago - Faucett-Vestavia Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFaucett-Vestavia is a wonderful school. It had been a great school already when our older son attended it. Since then, the Seven-Habits-Program has been introduced, and while I was skeptical about this program at first, it had and continues to have very positive impacts on the whole school. Team-work, high expectations for every kid, skilled and motivated teachers combined with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and an active PTO that organizes several events and activities each year, make it a fabulous place to learn and develop great social skills. The school building is very nicely decorated inside even the bathrooms have been painted and decorated. The principal welcomes the kids in the entryway each morning. Educational field trips, projects and science fairs contribute to the student s academic success. I can highly recommend this school.Parent Review9y ago - North River Christian Academy
