Read what parents are saying about Pell City High SchoolI don’t agree with a lot of the way things are handled at this school but my parenting and molding her has taught her the right way to handle things. The fact that this school lets a lot of things go bothers me. At games dress code doesn’t matter, language doesn’t matter and bullying doesnt matter. When they ride busses to and from games they will have cursing music blasting to and from games. I don’t teach my children to curse bully or dress inappropriately if it wasn’t for that my kids would be awful due to the role models at this school
Posted by a parent on 9/12/2018I am very proud that my child was able to go to Pell City High School. He is thriving in college.
Posted by a parent on 6/17/2018Our children came from a Talladega County school over 5 years ago. I just had a child enter college and another just started 11th grade here at PCHS this year. I can tell you they were not prepared for the curriculum when we first moved. Their grades went from straight A's to C's and they did not get to stay in BETA club. They were so behind. I feel very fortunate that we moved when we did and they are now better prepared for their college years thanks to PCHS!! They have so much more to offer our children. My children are back up to doing well in school while being challenged :-)

Posted by a parent on 9/2/2016Pell City High School does a great job offering students a variety of courses that prepare them for college and their careers. Pell City offers Project Lead the Way Biomedical and Engineering classes, Health Science and Sports Medicine classes, VoAg classes, Career Tech classes and a variety of Core courses ranging from general education to Advanced Placement. In addition to the courses offered, there are numerous activities that students can become involved in including athletics, a wonderful band, an amazing JROTC program (#1 in the state), and a variety of service, academic, and competitive clubs. The academic course work is rigorous and the teachers really care about their students. The administration does a wonderful job and are very good leaders. The guidance office does a great job helping students find scholarship opportunities and helping them set goals for their school careers. As with any high school, students are going to get out of it what they put in. For those striving to succeed, PCHS gives them every opportunity to do so. Go Panthers!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot begin to tell you what an amazing experience my child had at Eden Elementary School. Her teachers were wonderful. The principal is awesome. Even the custodian and the lunchroom workers left an impression on my child. I could NOT have asked for a better beginning to my child's education. Thank, Eden faculty and staff, for a job WELL done! :)Other Review8y ago - Walter M Kennedy School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school. They have the best staff and teachers!!! They care about each student and give them the best education. Even though it is a public school, it feels more like a private school in some ways. I love this school and am blessed to have my son who went through there and now my daughter!Parent Review2y ago - First Bapt Kinder/Daycare
