Posted by a parent on 8/9/2025The problem I have is their carpool. It is awful! Some days it's a little better depending on which teachers are out there. But it should be consistent. Council"s carpool is the worst in Mobile.

I pulled my other children and placed them in another school. I wish i would have pulled them sooner after seeing the difference. So many parent

So focused on tests scores that no one seems to remember they are children. My youngest was bullied relentlessly because he is white. He was made to feel like an outside

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDr. Pruitt is awesome!!! She makes sure that it is understand that everything she does is for the children. She isn't given much to go with but always does wonderful with what she has. Most of the children are awesome and the ones that need a little more guidance and love receive that as well. Dr. Pruitt is what Leinkauf has been missing and I am glad that she completes the puzzle. When parents report serious concerns that put students at risk, the school’s response is to punish the child who came forward instead of addressing the actual problem.Students who bravely report wrongdoing are met with harsh, unfair discipline, with no consideration for how much courage it took to speak up.
