First Independent Methodist School

This school has completely gone down the drain. My children do not get the education they deserve due to other children not behaving and the administration refusing to handle behavioral problems. Students could hit a teacher and the administration will blame the teacher. Behavioral issues are ignored and parents are not informed when things happen.

This school is by far the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Teachers and staff are very unprofessional the new principal is as well. Please do your research before sending your child here. Teaching strategies are slim to none I’m happy the year is almost over so I can place my child in a school that has teachers and staff who are qualified and have the passion to teach and actually enjoy their job.

Terrible school. Terrible teachers. Do not put your kids in this school no matter what. Will be transferring effective immediately.

My daughter's love their school. They come home excited to talk about their day and are so eager to share with me all the new things they have learned. We like to compare what learning techniques are used on their classroom vs when I went to school. I can say it is a lot different, but it sounds so fun. Every teacher there remembers their previous students/ students families and that is really nice to know your always seeing known faces. It's comforting as a parent because it to me helps with keeping the school safe and makes for a comfortable environment for the students. Parent participation is always welcomed and encouraged.

My children have been at MCS for going on 6 years now and I could not imagine a more nurturing and caring environment that provides them with them with a great education than with this school does. The campus is beautiful and my children enjoying the interaction they get with children in the upper grades, This school is one big family!

I have two students who attend this school! Amazing family based school with caring teachers! I would definitely recommend this school!
