Posted by a parent on 8/31/2016My son has attended ER Dickson since kindergarten. He is now in 3rd grade. This is not the same, wonderful school it was just 2 yrs ago. I am currently trying to find him a new school. Just as a lot of his friend's parents already have done this yr.
Posted by a parent on 8/25/2015Principal required 5 yr old (MINOR) to sign suicide contract, (which courts would throw out in two seconds) for pointing a crayon and saying "pew,pew" is the height of stupidity. Would pull my child out of this school immediately, and Principal should be fired!

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think the school is okay, but mostly okay for kids who are Caucasian. Majority teaching staff is Caucasian. Diversity and Inclusion is obviously not a thing at this school. The African American kids have to work 3 times as hard as the Caucasian kids to get recognized the same way the Caucasian kids do who can do the very little. I think the school can be okay and be better if they focus more on diversity and inclusion. The teachers also does not seem to care much about the kids in a way that is caring. Some of the teachers seem more like it is a job than caring to ensure all the students are included and congratulated equally. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is by far the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Teachers and staff are very unprofessional the new principal is as well. Please do your research before sending your child here.
