Read what parents are saying about Liberty Middle SchoolThe Madison mayor and city council have destroyed what was a fantastic school system by allowing unchecked new residential building and all they've done is stick it to homeowners by raising taxes. Over 1200 new students enrolled this year and it's been like this the past 6 years. Schools are so overcrowded, my daughters waiting 45 minutes for a bus to arrive, one way traffic in the school halls, no lockers (50+lb backpacks), etc. Teachers used to be so enthusiastic, no they're just overwhelmed. Such a shame.
Posted by a parent on 8/24/2021The kids are not allowed to attend school anymore. Many are falling behind and failing out of the advanced classes. The superintendent has no education plan in place to bring the kids update on the education deficiencies. When they have attended school only for two weeks this year, they do not stay in the class for the full time but leave early for masks breaks. This superintendent just started and has put the district in fast downhill slide. Do not send your kids to school in this district. They will not be educated but, you will have a lot of fees to pay for nothing.
Posted by a parent on 2/16/2021Doesn't give them too much home work but also gives a little.The teachers are very kind and compassionate towards students. They have many clubs and leadership roles for students. It disciplines when wrong is done but congratulates the good. t gives tutoring retakes and different text formats for different students. It definitely punishes bulling and does not tolerate it. Overall I loved my experience at this school.

The administration and staff in this school are outstanding! Honestly the best of the best schools in Madison city schools. Leadership sure does reflect, and Mrs. Demeester is an exemplary leader.The inclusion at this school and care they inculcate into the students to genuinely care for each other is one I have never seen before.The students are kind and support kids of all kinds. My son loves going to school and has learned and developed so well socially and academically. Special education staff is incredible. They genuinely care about your child and do everything in their power to help them. Giving me hope I wasn't too sure of prior to him starting here. This school is a heaven sentY'all this school has the best staff. Mrs. Sellers, Mrs. Rush, Mrs. Massey. Just an awesome staff and administration. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been attending Rainbow since Kindergarten and is getting ready to end 2nd grade. I have been extermely pleased with all of her teachers and the Principal and Vice Principal. The office personnel make a point to know each child and the teachers communicate regularly with parents instead of just at conference times.
