They are very good about dodging complaints on racial issues and also on those who have a disability.

FDA prepared me well for college and success in life overall. This is one reason I choose to send my kids there as well. In the past and currently, it strives for academic excellence but also puts a great deal of emphasis on character development. The facility and the parents are truly invested In the success of the students and the future of our community. That’s why you see former students coming back to the community as leaders and professionals and sending their kids there as well. It has a family atmosphere where everyone knows everyone else, where respect for authority and each other is enforced by all, where families (and teachers who could earn more somewhere else) are there because they want to be there. That makes a huge difference a child’s ability to learn in the classroom. It is a private school so there is tuition but they try to keep it affordable to encourage diversity, although that is lacking. Keeping tuition reasonable also means they don’t offer A ton of extras ( bands, special ed. Etc That are at public schools). But I feel the cost is worth the Independence that comes with it. It allows the school to work inside a Christian framework without government mandates and parents have direct control over decisions with leadership, policy and funds.
