If you don't play football it is very annoying that the football students get all this special treatment such as 10 pep rallies a year that students are required to go to and bow down to the football players as if

Whether your child excels in the math and sciences to sports to art/theatre/band/chorus - there is something for everyone. The school is small enough to have personalized attentio
Posted by a parent on 3/31/2013There are some amazing teachers at DHS. There are some who need to step up and teach! I want my child to excel in college and am nervous that she might not be ready. The administration needs to find a focus and get their teachers working towards the goal.

We truly love our students, and it shows in our compassion for them (providing food, coats, clothes, funeral costs for a sibling of a student), in our teaching (just walk down the halls and listen to the teachers as they teach!), and in the morale of the faculty. We are friends, as well as coworkers. We are led by a caring principal who provides whatever supplies and training we need, then trusts us to do our job. They were in class with kids from various economic backgrounds and ethnicities. The teachers and administration were very inclusive and did an outstanding job. The PTA is very active and does many projects to help better the school.
