Elvin Hill Elementary School

this school sucks. i do not like the way people here are. this school is just awful.

This School has a protocol that ASSUMES ALL students have problems based on the cards they were dealt in life. They will not take the time to review the folder on the child to see or evaluate. There is a student there with an impeccable record, straight A's, no behavioral problems whatsoever but they are going to disrupt this child's life set them back emotionally many months. Why? if a car is not broke you do not take it to a mechanic, the same with a child, if they have adapted to their new life seamlessly then why in the name of the Almighty do you want to hinder the child! This IS an over reach of government and an administration that does not have the backbone, "want to" or initiative to get off their butts and do what is right for the child. I am angry, appalled, frustrated and the list continues of my attitude and feelings. It seems to me these people do things to justify their position for a paycheck. None of this was needed or warranted for the student but the system without investigation has rendered judgement causing nothing but harm to the child. I would now like to address the professionalism of the so called principal. When a family comes to the school as a unit that in itself speaks to the cohesion of the family. BUT the principal addressed one of the children as "who are you" and "you are not part of this conversation" should show you immediately that the attitude of the administration is less than desirable. This school is not a leader but only a follower they do not have the intelligence to evaluate each student. They do as they are told by a book of protocol rules that is written to encompass everyone and every situation regardless. So as you can see my frustration is very high as the mentality of the child is not their utmost concern but most likely numbers.
