Hunter Elementary School

Some kinder teachers teach children to write using the denealian font. But all the other paperwork they get, work on, view, uses the normal basic font. Then when those students move on to 1st grade, those teachers mark points off, for not utilizing the correct font. It's hard on parents, because we taught our kids to write using the basic font that is in all the workbooks online and in books stores. Now our kids tell us, "that's not the right way!" Does anyone else see a problem with this??

I love this school because it has so many great teachers and they all teach great. Each student who goes there will have a great education and learn new thing every single day.

The teachers here have touched my heart and so have the students. Learning new things here have opened up a great new window for me to explore. I hope to come here next year

Our son just started here. We love the fact that he can work with kids 2 to 3 years older than him. A student works at the pace they are able to handle. If your child already knows basic counting that student moves on to more advanced concepts. The student doesn't have to wait for the whole class to understand before he/she moves up a level.

As a student, it was the worst possible school. The teachers didn't teach. When I backed for help they said "Look in your book". The teachers did not have our best interests in mind. The lunches had no nutritional value. It was severely underfunded. Other students agreed with this statement.
