3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot all students do well in the Fond du Lac school system. Unfortunately the negative voices are the loudest. So many kids/parents/families have an amazingly positive experience all the way through to graduation and we don’t hear much from them. This is one parent expressing gratitude to all the teachers and admin at these schools.Parent Review3y ago - Theisen Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf your student is an above average student, this school would work for you. Average and below fall way behind. Bullying, by students as well as teachers is a real issue. Curriculum is good in Fond Du Lac. If you can choose, Sabish has the most caring teachers and level students. Woolworth is okay but too much bullying too.Parent Review6y ago - Waters Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think that this school is over rated. I'm just glad that my oldest one will be out of there next school year, and my youngest one will be getting schooling at home. I am sadden by the way the public school system have degraded or the last 20 years.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 199 E 10th St.

"We have lived here for 5 years. of course there are some streets that aren't the kindest, but thats in most big cities. most of the people you meet are friendly. There are so many jobs, shops, and social gathering in this city. "

"Short commute. Very little traffic. Roads are average and approaching being in need of repair. Only Johnson Street tends to get backed up during the morning and evening school and work hours."

"The people are friendly, but the Water bills are high. In the winter the main streets are kept clear but the side streets might not be plowed for several days after a have snow. Flooding is a major concern in a large part of the city."

"It’s a decent town, with decent schools. Eating options are a bit limited. No significant violent crime. "

"Children coming off side streets need to be watched for.. not only if you are turning into the r. oad - they come down the middle. and pull onto the sideways without checking if a vehicles are backing out (drivers are often blind on one side or the another of their vehicle. Cars do not aways have back cameras to see them. Kids already expect people to be able to see them because they've been exposed to the cameras on their parents vehicles"

"There are a lot of dogs so there a lot of barking but my dogs could run away and get hit by a car if they’re no on leashes"
- Nadji C.

"Less crime than most areas. The park is nice. Shopping is pretty much in two areas which is nice. I feel safe here. I feel it’s a good place for kids to grow up. The UBMS program for kids is amazing!"

"We’ve lived in our neighborhood for 15yrs and have loved every minute. It’s an old fashioned - yes you can borrow a cup of sugar neighborhood. People are always outdoors, friendly, helpful and willing to stop whatever they’re doing to talk. Most yards are extremely well kept. Dog walkers are conscious of pet etiquette. There is a really nice mix of people. Ages have run from newborn to newlywed, college, career, retired and even 103 yrs old. It’s a really nice place to come home to. "

"I’ve lived here since I was 4 and I’ve always loved it. Small town with lots of parks for my son to go to and a bike trail for hikes and biking. Traffic usually isn’t heavy unless school just got out. "
