9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had a pretty good experience here after transferring from another school. The building itself could really use an extra wing, though. Most of the hallways and staircases are so narrow and they get extremely packed when kids get out of class, to the point that I genuinely believe there would be causalities in the event of a fire, for example. The only open spaces where you can stop getting pushed around is 2 of the entrances and a cafeteria. Seriously, as schools get more populated, this place would give me claustrophobia if they tried to accommodate more kids. Also a LOT of the students tried to peer pressure me into buying coke lmao, what a waste of money. Mostly good teachers though.Parent Review3y ago - Greenwood Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe parent community is involved (think friendly and committed rather than entitled and annoying). The teachers have an unusually informed approach to social-emotional growth -- for example, our long-time PE teacher (who is so amazing she trains other PE teachers in the district) has a whole "kindness" curriculum this year. My kid and his buddies are academically challenged. The PTA fund ensures that all kids get to participate in every activity -- no kid is ever turned away for lack of funds. Commitment to equity is strong from both families and staff. We love this school SO much.Parent Review6y ago - Robert Eagle Staff Middle School

"Short, by car early enough. Bike works best, east-west traffic on N 85th Street gets super heavy. Aurora has tolls if you go past SLU, but if you don’t, it’s far preferred to I5 during rush hour (or not!)"
