3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been attending this school since my sophomore year, and honestly this is the worst school I had ever went to. I wanted to give it a below average due to the hardworking teachers, but I feel like that will not help anyone who is looking for an honest review. During testing days, whoever was in charge of testing told me that I had to take an Algebra I test despite taking one and passing it in my other school. The math classes are a wreck just like any other American public school. For an assignment, my other classmates and I went to a class where there were a bunch of foreign students who spoke little English. I only saw one teacher teaching the class of students who came from different parts of the world. I am not sure how effective their teaching was. The new school nurse knows nothing about privacy. I was in a rush and my stomach was in pain, so I asked the nurse is I could use the bathroom. I could not and she asked if I pooped right in front of two students. The guidance councilor said I was missing a class during my 2nd semester Freshman year. I was then put into another history class.Student Review9y ago - Custer Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughters have been attending Custer since day one of Kindergarten. My older is now a 5th grader and I also have a 1st grader and they BOTH LOVE IT! All the staff, from principals and teachers, to custodians and receptionist, they are all AMAZING! You can tell they all care about the well being and safety of the children along with ensuring that they are getting the education they need and deserve. I would not hesitate to enroll kids here and would recommend it to anyone and have nothing but kind words about the school and staff!!! 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were excited our daughter made it into this school as her teachers had recommended it for her. Shortly after her first month she said she was 'gender fluid'. When asked what that meant she simply replied that what she had been told by her teachers. I think we have more pressing issues in our schools then teacher telling our children such things. Can we not just let them be children??Parent Review1y ago

"The side streets are fine for walking pets but the main street is VERY BUSY during commute hours. The area is getting more and more crowded, And home prices and rents are going up way too fast for this area. "

"Tucked away from Tacoma and the freeway. Waterfront is close by as well as an Air Force base. Outdoor mall with most of your shopping needs."
