8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChild with IEP since 2nd grade. Now a 9th grader at IHS. Been in NSD entire school career. Absolutely the worst district for children with special needs. Antiquated administrators, outdated mindsets. Does not acknowledge disability. Child failing half of their classes. No plans in place for credit retrieval, or extension of school year to provide consistency in social/emotional learning and avoid regression.Parent Review11mo ago - Moorlands Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 3 kids have been attending this school. The experience was consistently good. Mr Miller, Mrs Pearia, Mrs. Sheldon, Mrs. Cracker, Mrs. Knapp, Mrs. Stewart are always attentive to our kids' academic and emotional needs, encouraging, kind, and respectful. The EAP students do get necessary academic challenge and support. The music teachers are awesome. We are not into arts so we prefer strong academics over arts. I am glad that HiCap kids are clustered together: it's easier for them to find friends with common views. If they brag about being "high cap". I am going to surprise you: kids do brag about whatever they can find suitable to brag about: Adidas shoes, dad's Tesla, summar voyage to Paris or that they can kick their classmate in the face. Maybe, it's better when kids brag about being smart than when they are proud of being rich and shallow.Parent Review4mo ago - Northshore Jr High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo, I have been to 3 middle school's in the past year (6th grade) and it is definitely the best one I went to. Students are very nice and I made friends on the first day! I learned A lot and the Teachers make learning fun and will talk to you if they know you are behind. I definitely would recommend this to somebody moving to the Bothell - Kenmore area!Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 15119 80th Ave NE.

"I’ve lived here over 30 years. The location is great, being able to access the Eastside, and Seattle/Everett without a toll bridge. The cluster housing (Apartments, McMansions, etc.) has made getting anywhere a headache most of the time, so we’re planning to move in the near future."

"I just moved to this neighborhood 4 months ago and I have loved every second of it. It is close by to Saint Edward State Park where I can walk my dog along beautiful scenic trails, It is close to grocery stores and a bus line that takes me straight to downtown Seattle where I work. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and I feel very at peace being here. "
