4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been an Achilles Student since Kindergarten. He was a preemie and had a learning disability. We didn't think he would ever be able to read on appropriate level. The staff at Achilles had him on level within 2 years of his IEP. He leaves for and comes home from school excited and full of stories of his great day. Best teachers around . The entire staff at this school is exceptional!Parent Review7y ago - Gloucester High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI want to love this high school. We went out of our way to move to this district, but some of the staff are not helpful. Complaints are swept under the rug. Counselors don't listen to the parents or students at all, at least the one assigned to us. Some students are given preferential treatment. When ever you address any concern you are treated as if you are the problem regardless of how polite you are. Staff generally just seemed bothered if you call or stop by, To be fair, they are really great at communicating through pre-recorded messages should anything be happening at the school and the Principal seems very nice for the most part. They do have a lot to offer in terms of spirit weeks, pep rallies, fun things to motivate the kids, and sports teams. Transportation has been good and I feel safe sending my student on the busses.Parent Review3mo ago - Peasley Middle School

"There aren’t any walking areas and since it’s near the woods there is a high chance of ticks. Plus many of the yards aren’t fenced in and lead right on to the road "
