3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlexandria schools are bad. My son is LGBTQ and he likes it, but also knows it’s a really bad school. All the schools in Alexandria are overwhelmed with low income students whose parents have to work 2 jobs and can’t truly raise them or the other type who don’t work at all and get the government and taxpayers like us to pay for everything. Either way, the kids suffer. There are success stories. Plenty! But, if you think your kid may be subject to bullying or homophobia, transphobia, outcast, or you believe they truly have what it takes to graduate from college. Alexandria is a bad choice. The housing here is cheap. Private schools are double the national average for a reason. I work for a nonprofit and I do care about all people. Don’t make your kids go to Alexandria public schools because you don’t want to drive 30-45 minutes to work. Your kids need to come firstParent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 4640 Lambert Dr.

"Lots of dogs in the area, being walked all the time, no open space for dogs to run though, and there's no real walking trails very close"
- current_resident

"The area was good but now it is heavily infected with huge mice. If you walk in the evening or night you will see mice in corners. I am scared to even drop trash at night. The situation on my street, Sheffield, is so bad that mice have gotten into dry walls and heat vents and at night you can hear mice crawling and scratching. Management need to do something soon otherwise the area will be unlivable. Mgmt is improving the external image of the apartments with new paints, playground, etc but not doing anything about mice. You can call for tech and they’ll come and leave sticky mouse catchers but the mice in the area are big and are avoiding eating pills or walking on traps. The rent keeps going up but no improvements for the current residents. On top of that, they are adding indoor washer and dryers. No one wants it! Not only will it make the apts even smaller but you will continue to pay the same rent for square space. Horrible! "
